As the days unfold and the world's response grows in response to the coronavirus outbreak, we want to first of all thank all the frontliners. A big thank you to the healthcare workers, police, military, security guards, grocery store cashiers, factory workers and all other essentials workers still working hard to keep the world running.
We all – the VKS family and the world in general – are in uncharted territory, we need to stand by each other in this difficult time. It is imperative that we as a society, remain calm, not panic and most importantly work together to ensure that we get through this with the least amount of harm to both ourselves and the economy.
To protect you and your families, our business, and the communities we live and work in, we’ve implemented strong measures to dramatically reduce the risk of exposure here at VKS. By doing so, we will live up to our social responsibility by preventing the virus from spreading further, while ensuring the business continuity that supports and enables our customers and the economies they operate in. These minor adaptations will allow us to maintain our high customer service levels for all our clients.
When these events occur, it reinforces the need to capture knowledge and share it rapidly. Using best practices to combat ongoing issues will make all of us stronger and more resilient in the long run.
We remain focused on being safe and hope everyone takes the appropriate precautionary measure.
