Business Development Representative - Remote

Visual Knowledge Share Ltd (VKS) is looking for a passionate, talented, creative Business Development Representative who is well organized, highly motivated and detail-oriented. The focus of the ideal candidate is to identify, connect with, and qualify leads to funnel into VKS’ sales pipeline.


Position Summary

  • Position status: Permanent

  • Location: Remote work within North America


Your Role & Responsibilities

  • Prospecting / Lead Generation;
  • Conduct thorough research on leads;
  • Develop extensive knowledge on niche markets;
  • Understand and master VKS’ ideal target market;
  • Identify targets and make contact;
  • Qualify leads;
  • Build & maintain rapport with customers;
  • Be the facilitator between customer and Sales Engineer;
  • Understand companies up-sale potential;
  • Present and sell VKS to potential customers;
  • Create and demonstrate high quality use cases that show the full functionality of VKS;
  • Work on challenging projects with the entire sales team;
  • Collect customer feedback and support the product development process;
  • Take part in trade shows and other events.


Skills & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree;
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience working in outbound sales, prospecting and qualifying leads;
  • Very strong social skills;
  • Previous knowledge in the manufacturing industry is preferred;
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Knowledge of common information technologies such as Internet browsers, mobile devices, Word, Excel, etc.;
  • An up-beat and go-getter mentality;
  • Experience with Salesforce, ZoomInfo and other prospecting tools and strategies;
  • Targeted and independent way of working, paired with an entrepreneurial mindset;
  • Excellent technical understanding and affinity to quickly familiarize yourself with new applications;
  • Willingness to travel is required;
  • Multilingualism (an asset).
